The third race was the best for the day’s pro­gramme as Boodram­s­ing showed them who was the sad­dle boss while push­ing the 1-2 favourite So­ca Rhap­sody who lost last time out. How­ev­er, on this oc­ca­sion she was swing­ing on the bri­dle. With 600 me­tres left in the event So­ca Rhap­sody took con­trol and the fur­ther they went the eas­i­er the race be­came. At the top of the straight So­ca Rhap­sody was cruis­ing from News Flash who moved to chal­lenge and Leonar­do An­gel with Wang Chung back in fourth.
